What the card labels mean
Many listings carry a label after the card name, such as Alternate Art, Parallel, SP, Manga, Reprint, Full Art, Jolly Roger Foil, Textured Foil or Box Topper. The label tells you which art or foil treatment you are buying. A different treatment of the same card usually plays the same, but it often carries a collector premium, so check the listing title and photo before you order. If you only want the card to play with, the standard version is usually the cheaper choice.
Shipping and in-store pickup
We ship singles across Canada with Canada Post. Singles orders of $15 or more ship free by letter mail (no tracking or insurance), orders under $15 are $3.00 by letter mail, and tracked and insured shipping is $11.95. Sealed product ships by Canada Post Expedited, which is free on orders above $250. Full details are on our Shipping Info page.
Card condition and tournament play
Cards with markings, or with noticeable bends and scratches that hinder the card text, cannot be used in sanctioned tournaments. Our Tournament Legal Cards page shows side-by-side examples of legal and non-legal cards, and sleeving your cards is highly recommended. Sleeves also need to be opaque and unmarked to be used in tournaments.
Returns on singles
Singles and sealed trading card products are collectible goods and are excluded from our standard 30-day return policy. If an order arrives damaged, please contact us before opening it and we will take care of it. Read the full Return Policy.
