What Is Stardust Trails (GD06)?

Stardust Trails is the sixth main booster set for Bandai's Gundam Card Game. It adds 130 numbered cards plus 5 Special cards and 8 token cards — commonly listed as "135+8 card types" — spanning eleven different Gundam anime series. The set's headline draw is the card game debut of two series that hadn't appeared before: Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

Despite that framing, the biggest single series in the set by card count is actually ∀ Gundam with 25 cards, just ahead of 0083 (24 cards) and ZZ (23 cards) — so this is very much a multi-series set rather than a two-series spotlight.

When Did Stardust Trails Release?

GD06 released at retail on October 30, 2026 in North America (Japan's street date was October 31). It's been on shelves for about a week now. We ran a sealed release event in-store, and singles from the set are already in stock and sorted on our shelves.

What's In a Booster Pack and Box?

Product What's Inside
Booster Pack 12 cards per pack
Booster Box 24 packs per box

Full rarity breakdown across the set: 50 Common, 36 Uncommon, 32 Rare, 12 Legend Rare, 5 Special (SP), and 8 tokens.

Pull Rates: How Rare Is a Legend Rare?

Based on tracked openings of English boxes (24 packs each), here's roughly what to expect per box:

Tier Roughly per box
LR  Legend Rare ~8 per box
LK  Link Rare 4 per box (effectively fixed)
ALT  Alt-art (LR+/R+/U+) ~2 per box
LR++  Super-premium alt art ~1 per 13 boxes
SP  Special base card ~1 per 2–3 boxes

A couple of real-world notes from opened boxes: every pack carries at least two Rares-or-above (tokens no longer eat a rare slot like they did in earlier sets), but roughly 10 of 24 packs in a box come up empty on LR/Link Rare/alt-art entirely — so the box-level average holds up, even though individual packs swing a lot. Treat these numbers as directional rather than guaranteed; they're drawn from a sample of opened boxes, not an official odds sheet from Bandai.

Stardust Trails spans eleven Gundam series. By card count, the top three are:

  • ∀ Gundam — 25 cards
  • Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory — 24 cards (card game debut)
  • Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ — 23 cards (card game debut)

The remaining eight series fill out the rest of the set in smaller numbers, including support for existing archetypes like Zeon's Delaz Fleet and the Albion Squad from Iron-Blooded Orphans.

Every Legend Rare in Stardust Trails

All 12 Legend Rares in the set, grouped by in-game color:

Green Elpeo Ple's Qubeley Mk-II, Turn X
Red ZZ Gundam, Gundam Bael
Purple Gundam GP02A, Legend Gundam, GFreD
White Altron Gundam (Endless Waltz), SUMO Gold Type

New Traits & Notable Cards

GD06 introduces six new card traits (the archetype tags printed on cards): Albion Squad, Delaz Fleet, Gundam Team, Ghingnham Fleet, Dianna Counter, and Alphacide.

A few cards are doing things the game hasn't seen before:

  • Turn X — the first card that can copy a token.
  • Teaching New Techniques — the first card that gives the opponent a Unit token.
  • 5th Luna — makes a Base token, the first token of its kind to be a Base rather than a Unit.
  • ZZ Gundam — one of the highest combined AP+HP stat lines on a Unit in the set, with a Deploy ability that deals 2 damage to all enemy Units.
  • Neo Core Fighter — enables a three-card combo together with ZZ Gundam.

Also worth flagging if you're building competitively: three vanilla (ability-less) Units — Gaza D, Windam, and GFreD (GD06-063) — joined the format's "vanilla banned pair" restriction as of this set's release.
