Tournament Legal Cards

The way to determine whether or not certain cards are tournament legal can be checked in many different ways.

If a card has any markings, noticeable bends and scratches hindering the text of the card, that card cannot be used in a tournament.

Here is an example of tournament legal card.

Here is an example of a non-tournament legal card.

As shown above, the tournament legal card is clear and visible with no noticeable bends or scratches making the card unreadable.

Players who enter in tournaments also have the option to sleeve their cards. (Highly recommended in order to make sure the card is not damaged)

Sleeves however cannot be clear or have any noticeable markings on them. Here are some examples of proper sleeves and non proper sleeves to use for tournaments.

Above are proper sleeves used in card game tournaments. The sleeve shows the card very visibly and is not marked.

The card shown above is an example of a non tournament legal card. The sleeve shows markings and bends all over and could very well be noticed in a deck.
